Front grille....

Lovely. How did you do that? I always understood that polishing the anodised bits was impossible?

Hardtop installation

Got it. My hood lets in so much UK rain that I need to cover it to save the interior! I'll just omit the cover.

Hardtop installation

Forgive the basic question!
I'm getting ready to put the hardtop on the GTC. If I fold away the hood and put its cover on, will the hardtop fit on over the lot? In other words, can I still engage the hooks on the rear quarters? Or does the cover get in the way?

Thanks

Charging Problem?

If you're looking at the alternator plug yes, the terminal's a normal spade type with a tang. Tiny screwdriver should go in and depress it.

Se6 speaker grilles.

A pint in my local is £3.60, does that seem OK?
I've found another pair, but they're pretty scrappy and not worth anything.
PM me your address if you want 1 or 3, and I'll see what Royal Mail want to send them.

The glasses aren't handed but the tricky bit would be moving the wires over. They seem to be very tightly threaded through the plinth. PS to take the glasses out you need a strong thin blade to lever them forward out of the body. Be brave - they can take a fair bit of pressure.

WANTED PAIR OF SE6A DOOR WINDOW FRAMES

I've just put a LH ex-GTC frame on eBay, if you want it I'll stop the auction (think I can do that if nobody's bid?)
Transport could be tricky, where are you?

1982 GTC project gumtree

So the GTC has been parked outside so it can think about its behaviour and I can get on with looking after the other cars. Tonight we had our first rain for weeks and I went out to see how good the hood was at keeping water out. It wasn't! Rain was dripping from the flaps inside the door tops and wa...
