GTC Stainless Steel Noise

Good afternoon all
Is it possible to reduce the nasty din from the stainless steel exhausts - replacement from the main dealer oracle - expensive, poor fitting not very good. It sounds like a sports exhaust???
Do I need to go bespoke??

Scimitar GTC

Good afternoon all.
Is it possible to fit the 2.8 ford cologne engine with the EFI system. Would it be of any benefit at all or a complete waste of time and money??
Kind regards
Rob.

Scimitar se6 steel wheels

Good afternoon all - I have a question regarding the original steel wheels on the Se6 model, the ones with the holes in then. Are the bolts to restrain set at a 45 deg pitch at the head or 60 deg. Also does anyone have any.
Kind regards
Rob

Re: Body removal

Also,
Reading the above post. The removal of the front section is chassis arm. Not required.

Re: Body removal

Hi There
Not sure if you have sussed it yet, the bumper is connected in the middle via a long right angle bracket which bolts to the chassis and the bumper. There are six bolts securing. You can remove either set of three and the bumper will tilt forward and slide out.
Kind regards

Don't be too disappointed if you get a poor reply from GW apparently I'm the only person to have issues with their stainless steel manifolds

Scimitar GTC Indicator Lucas L787

Hello everyone,
Can anyone advise where I may be able to purchase the Lucas indicator rear rubber mount for the side indicator units??
I can purchase new units with the mount from QRG but at £80,00 for a pair I would prefer to replace just the rubbers as the units are tip top.
kind regards

Re: Indicator / wiper cluster clamp broken

Hi,
The cheap fix is no nails, sound mad but i did mine and it holds brilliantly, if you need to remove, take a thin blade screwdriver it breaks the seal and you can clean and re-fix, i have done this a few times now and its easy.

GTC Suspension & Shocks

Hello everyone, a couple of questions.. I currently have red springs front and rear with adjustable shock absorbers, the springs have plates that can be screwed up and down, the ride is somewhat course, more like a sports car. My question, are the springs being red in colour a heavy duty unit?? Can ...

Re: Removing the centre console GTC

Hi Peter,
You could do what i did twist the living daylights out of it, snap the inner workings, discover the small pin in the shaft and press and release easily then go and pay £25.00 for a new one :D :D :D but i wasn't this cool when i did it 8) 8)
