Middlebridge spotted near Exmouth

Unfortunately Curborough clashed with another family holiday and I'm currently down here in Exmouth. Though my Scimitar addiction has just been fed by spotting what looked like a Middlebridge (dark blue) wizzing past at a road junction. As my local knowledge is a bit pants, all I can say is that it ...

I'm sure the conspiracy theories are doing the rounds, but i would like to think that his excuse is genuine. Though this is very hard to do, I've watched F1 for many years and I struggle to think of a more controversial rule bending (breaking !) driver who was always quick to blame someone else, and...

This is a shame. I was really looking forward to this.

I'll bet it got some tickets sold though. Valencia would have been struggling with the question mark hanging over Alonso.

Bollington Transport Extravaganza Sept 13th 2009

I have some spare tickets for Scimitars for the "Bollington Transport Extravaganza" held at the Adelphi Mill in Bollington nr. Macclesfield Cheshire on the 13th September this year. I normally have a full list list of entrants by this time, but unfortunately I've left it to the last minute this year...

Wow.... I did have my reservations about this style of lamp but they look a lot better than I thought they would.

They don't look out of place at all.......

Nice one.

Cheers

It sounds like the max-power versions are constructed differently. Have you tried contacting the seller ? When mine arrived there weren't any bulbs with them, but an email to seller got a full set delivered in a couple of days. I think you've got every right to complain if there's rust in there. The...

Ahhh sorry I misunderstood ! If you look at this picture, you'll see that the type I bought have rubber gasket inside the recess on the back plate. I take it that yours don't ? But I'm sure you could make something up so you don't have to use the dreaded silicone. http://i657.photobucket.com/albums/...

Dave, which set did you buy ? The ones in the top of the picture ? The type that look more like the originals aren't the best quality in the world either, but they do compare well with many pattern lenses. Anyone who's recently bought a set front indicator assemblies from GW will know what I'm talki...

I seam to remember that it was John Barnard who designed Schumacher's first couple of Ferraris. But as he was based in the UK, I think some bits got lost in translation. Although Brawn would have had some influence in the design of the cars, I think it was his role as the race strategist that helped...

Well I'm no fan of Schumi either, I always thought he was a cheat and very unsportsmanlike. Having said that though, I have great respect for his talent. As Jim has said, it's great PR and moves the focus slightly away from the bad PR that was Massa's accident. I wonder if Bernie has financially oil...

Schumacher makes shock F1 return

As an F1 addict I'm totally blown away by the news that Schumacher is returning to Ferrari to replace Massa.

However am I the only one who thinks it's going to be a bit of anti climax ? How can he still be competitive after 3yrs out of the car ? And is he fit enough at 40 ?

Further to my posts on another thread "Oil Cooler" I've now added an oil cooler to the car. It's a Mocal 235mm 13 row cooler with 5/8"BSP fittings and hose. I also used a Mocal take off plate. The filter is for a 2.9i 4X4 Granada, I fitted this as it's much shorter (72.5mm) than the original one (95...
