Well done Jim, looks like a 25 for you and a 23.2 for Nick. I’ll confirm later.

QRG sill section SS1

Does anyone have a photo of a QRG sill section (new as delivered) that they could post here for me. Just weighing up my options as to whether to replace the bent one on my sprint car or to try and re-shape it. Also, if anyone has a driver’s side sill section for sale, please give me a shout. Must be...

G130 YCF sprint car

Lots to consider. I’m going for 13s next season, so just need to decide what size, as there’s so much choice when you look across all of the brands! 205/60 215/55 225/45 235/45 245/45 :? Avon 215/55/13 are virtually the same rolling radius as 195/45/15, so they are current favourites. Lots of time ...

Rainport vs most 1B tyres will be like night and day when you’ve got over 150BHP in a Scim on track.

If anyone fancies trying the tyres I used at Curborough this year Extreme have just confirmed that they will also be on the 1B list for 2020 after which they are potentially going to be moved to the 1C list! Please use the link below if you are going to place an order, he will give me some money of...

G130 YCF sprint car

I reckon that most of the sets of 1Bs I’ve ever used would do about 14-16 events (single driven), 50/50 split between hills and sprints.

That’s R888 SG/ R888R GG/ Kumho V70 K22.

I'm not desperate at all, just curious. But the screen on its own is what I'd prefer. So Corky, if you have one out & you have free time to weigh it, that would be very good of you.
No problem, leave it with me.

I’ve got a screen in the garage. I could weigh it at the weekend if needed.

24.87 points pretty good outcome I’d say all things considered thought it was going to be a nil pointer :D
Shot myself in the foot there, convincing you we could fix it :hand:

Curbs was the place that I most missed the extra grip of 1B tyres.
The dent in your sill suggests it was Loton, not Curbs...
Damage wise yes, timewise no

Blyton Park 7/8 September 2019

I was happy with my 77.70, as it was 2/10ths quicker than last year in similar conditions. The route I took this year adding more horses but going for worse tyres for handicapping reasons, has paid off at some places where grip isn't quite as important as power. Curbs was the place that I most misse...
