Gear box and axle oil type

I'm not too up on the oil specs, I know the book says
"the gearbox needs SAE80 gear oil and the axle SAE90 EP gear oil."

so what is 'GEAR EP 80W-90'
could this stuff be used for both ?
it says It meets API GL-4

I don't know what most do, but I'm going to replace the body then drill thru the new bits to make sure it all lines up.
