3 Rod Gearbox problem

Hi Kevin, yes the pin sits in the centre of the spring. Ask for ball "20" or even spring 19, I haven't found either when I removed the side cover.

Cam Bearings

Hi all, I'm after as much advice as possible. As anyone changed the cam Bearings themselves or should it be left to an expert?

Rear wheel cylinder

I've fitted the clip and a gasket behind the cylinder and it is alot tighter but I can still rotate it quite easy.

Rear wheel cylinder

Hi Roger, I've just bought one of those tools from a mini website which screws into the 3/8 pipe fitting although I haven't had a chance to use it yet. But online I've seen conflicting ways that the clip goes on. Could you please let me know which is the correct way. Thanks.

Rear wheel cylinder

Hi Mark, yes there is a roll pin fitted which keeps the orientation right but it's slack against the back plate.

Rear wheel cylinder

Hi oldconn, there was no gasket with the cylinder. I have seen them on a mini site and thought about trying one. Thanks I will definitely give it a go. And to answer your question it wasn't been held flat against the back plate. Cheers Dave

Rear wheel cylinder

Hi everyone, when fitting the new rear wheel cylinder once the e clip is on there seams to be excessive play on the cylinder. Are they supposed to be tight or should there be some free movement. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers Dave

Newcomer

Hi and welcome, I'd consider myself to be quite new on this forum but I can tell you that everyone I've had contact with as been friendly and helpful. Are you planning on a full body off restoration? If you are I'm not that far in front of you. All the best Dave.
