Locking petrol cap

Hi All,
Anyone interested in a locking petrol cap. I believe it came off an SE5a but it may have been a SE5 the experts on here will know. Not sure what it's worth so a value from those in the know will be helpful. Postage to be paid by whoever buys it.

Wrapping

Apparently covering a fiberglass car with a tight non breathable car cover will cause bubbles under the paint. It's recommended that a loose breathable cover that allows air to circulate is best. It would stand to reason that covering the fiberglass body with non breathable film as in wrapping would...

If you have half a GTE body joined to half a GTC body, I would call that a substantial change.

Would it be possible to relay the frame via Scimitarians, I'm sure there's enough members between Leigh-on-sea and Wrexham to pass it on too you.

That pipe was originally running over the top of the alternator and straight into the overflow bottle, you could get a longer pipe and run over the alternator again securing it with a cable tie. It was one of my temporary fixes and was always meant to be altered.

Seized clutch friction plate?

Do what I did when I wasn't using my Scimitar, just run it up to temperature once a week, press the clutch and put it through the gears (with engine off) and press the brake peddle to stop the seals sticking in the cylinders.
