I prefer to pull the bolt out every year and grease it to physically check it’s not siezed.

Anyone near Tredegar?

A long shot here. Does anyone who is planning to go to Curborough live near a place called Tredegar, which I believe is in Wales? If so, there's a single wheel I want to bid on, but only if someone can deliver to Curbs for beer tokens as the cost of postage would mean it's not worth the money. :)

SE5a Starter Motor removal help badly needed

I don't know if this will be any help at all and I'm not an auto electrician, but my 5a has the remote solenoid on the inner wing and I replaced the original starter with a later one with integral solenoid. To get the whole set-up to work, I simply connected the main lead from the remote solenoid to...

The green one is an Invicta Black Prince that used to be owned by a friend's father. He fitted Jag suspension and the engine and box out of a Rapier H120 believe it or not!

It's on the register and I have some narrative history from the owner. Sounds an interesting car and well worth a look I would say.

Rear axle differential seal gasket

I have just fitted a new cover on the diff of my 5a. Given that the diff is basically the same as a Jag, I used a silicone gasket for a Jag from a hot rod shop on ebay with a bit of Hylomar for added security.

Having looked into the cost of a personal plate, I have decided it's cheaper to change my name to DDS843L.
