Curborough provisionally booked for a Pre Season test day on Friday 20th March, 2020. Usual format, helmets but not full safety gear. Prices the same as last year £75 for a full day, and £42 for a half. Entries limited to 14 (per session). At present there is no plan to provide timing gear. Payment ...

All back together. Took me longer than it should have done but I sorted out some niggles on the way. Just need to re-torque the head bolts and then ready for a road test.

No adverse weather and no external oil cooler. I will put it back together next weekend and see what happens.

Thoughts were that either the head gasket or the water cooled oil cooler were the cause of the mayo in the oil. Craig lent me a spare to swap. Is there a right way up for the head gasket? This looks like the top to me (genuine Nissan)

OK had some more time today and now have the head off. All the crankshaft pulleys are either keyed or secured by the 6 bolts so I needn't have worried!
I cannot see any issues here:
