Possible Style Improvements

Thanks for the comments. I thought I'd leave it a while before looking. I'll take all comments into consideration before putting a proposal together. Photobucket

I have added effectively the same fix to our forum. Photobucket images are now visible. I'm sure it won't last forever. I'm still working on using the local copies I have downloaded for future security, but its rather complex and time consuming.

Possible Style Improvements

I have received some criticism of the current style, in particular how it appears on small mobile screens. I have a few suggestions for possible improvement and I invite comment on them. remove the list of moderators (full and mobile view) remove forum icons on mobile view cleaner, sharper icons for...

V3.2 problems

Limit now changed to 10Mb. Shouldn't cause us any problems as only the smaller resized image is saved. Someone please try an image somewhere between 5 and 10Mb to prove its working OK.

V3.2 problems

Just picked this up, not been around. There is a limit, that is currently set to 5Mb, above which images won't upload and resize. 8Mb for a single image is rather larger than I'd expect. Even my Digital SLR doesn't make them that big! I could try adjusting the limit if it proves to be much of a prob...

Yes it is limited to 5 per post. Hold fire on doing any more as I should get the PB links re-written during next week.

Photobucket - Recovery Plans

An update and a bit of a change of direction. Thanks to scimjim pointing me towards retro-rides where the webmaster had some solutions for the Photobucket problem, I have been able to exploit a loophole in Photobuckets refusal to serve images as a third-party source. I'm sure that Photobucket will p...

I don't suppose there's a spell check facility is there? I never found one on the old system, was rather hoping something might be included in the new one... There is no spell check for the current version of the software, nor is there one in development. The pphBB team say that most modern browser...
