Fuel leak at carb

Hi Everyone. I have now fitted the new fuel pump which seems to be working fine, only thing is i appear to now have a fuel leak from the metal pipe where the hose goes into the carb. :( Its more of a steady weeping than a full on leak but seems quite worrying. I've looked back at some past threads a...

Scimitar Fuel Pump Saga

Hi Everyone It would seem i'm building up a bit of a collection of Scimitar Fuel Pumps! Spent couple of hours today trying to fit the 2nd pump i've purchased in as many weeks and it just would not fit. There just wasn't enough clearance between where the pump goes in and the power steering oil...

I never said anything about it not working?
You can't fit it .
The curve of the arm means it doesn't fit

So The fuel pump i purchased was the wrong one :( Just as Roger said the arm curve is different. as you can see in my pic below (The top one is the one i removed from my 1978 SE6a) It seems these later ones are quite rare . None have come up on ebay in the last month and Graham Walker were out of th...

I tried calling Nigel at QRG 3 times today and got told he was busy and i couldn't place an order each time.

So its the one with the more angled arm for the SE6a right?

If so why are these so much harder to come by i wonder.
