inconsistant starting or consistant non starting!

Try a hotwire. My bet is failing contacts in the ignition switch. Something often seen before and gives these symptoms.

R7 is under spec for fuel injection. R9 minimum, but Biohose is the best you can buy, it even copes with 100% Ethanol.

Why 2 gaskets between top of the spacer and bottom of the carb? I have only ever used 1 each side of the spacer (with W-plate fitted).
Because of the "undulations" in the carburettor base. The original factory gasket was a thick one. So you replace it with two modified standard gaskets.

Toying with the idea of selling my GTC

Having had a most unwelcome Christmas card from HMRC, I could do with selling to raise the money I now have to find!

£5995 and I am happy to fit the new seats and footwell carpets if wanted.

SST RECORDS, HELP PLEASE

H7SST was put on the car in the late 90's by a PO. Richard still has the registration on retention, if anyone would like to purchase same? I think it got back its original reg when Fred took it to France, see what his V5 says.

Wanted by me - SE 6A or 6B Auto

I may have just the car for you. Either as is, running and roadworthy but needing attention, or fully sorted. It is a very nice example so it wouldn't be cheap!

Noggin tonight at the Royal William...

Due to the forecast of -10C tonight and the location of the venue, I have been advised that some members will not be attending. I think that it is a sensible decision and so I suggest that we cancel December's noggin and re-convene in January.

DAB Aerial recommendations

No such beast as a digital aerial! A conventional car aerial will work with DAB but it's worth getting the filter / splitter unit if only to give the correct connectors. For my project, I have mounted a seperate DAB aerial inside the rear quarter, but on the Scorpio, I use the filter / splitter and ...
