Dash veneers..

I have not yet found a match anywhere. The other point is that covering the panels is going to be a pain, due to all the intricate bits. A far better solution is to use Vinylkote which can be matched to any colour and sheen that you want.

How about changing its colour with Vinylkote? They can supply any colour as well as matching the paint.

Headlight question?....

No dip relays, it all comes from the dip/main stalk. If one is working then it is going to be from fuse box onwards. It is more than likely that you have just disturbed a corroded or loose bullet connector behind the lamp. Take the spare wheel out and have a good look at the loom behind the nose. Id...

Well I have offered to come over for expenses!

I have an American fault code reader that is easy to use, so you will just need to intercept three wires from the ECU which I will identify given a few minutes.

I imagine that if it really isn't there that someone discarded it not knowing what it is. So... i will look up the pin numbers and cable colours for you, so you can wire one from the ECU direct. I can send you a fault code reader which has Lucar tags, so no need for sourcing the right sockets etc.

Scimitar owner = thick skin I have been diplomatically put in my place there is a sense of there being a heirarchy even in social conversation I get responses that suggest I'm something of an irritant Well you are illustrating Jim's point. I haven't seen anyone in any thread hint that you are an ir...

If the ss1 is a CVH I'd stick with mineral. I used semi synth on my cvh race car and it breqthed heavier and used oil. Went back to same viscosity castol GTX mineral, no oil blown into catch tank and zero oil usage :-) Interesting comment Craig. I am a bit confused though... why would two oils of t...

Essex V6 Cooling discussion

Apart from mixture and timing, main causes are probably incorrectly routed fuel pipes, low fuel pressure, modified/faulty radiator ducting. Also perished fuel pipes, especially under a veicle where they are easy to inspect / replace. I have seen that many times on Scimitars, no reason why the TVR s...
