Cologne dipstick.

Hi all. Standard 1986 6B Cologne dipstick. I gather, looking on the forum, the tube is a friction fit in the block? Also, is there an O-ring fitted on the yellow plastic handle? There is a grove cast into the yellow plastic that looks designed to take one. Either location likely to cause an oil leak...

Blurred photo bucket

Have another one.
When logging on, one key stroke gives me a user names, but each time they're slightly different,
Case of the first letter of either name changes & other minor variations. Strange thing is I can always
log in & remember me works, so no need to fix it, I'm just puzzled (again) why?

As Jim said check the flap moves, I have the same problem.

I like the A/C condenser behind the false (modified) grille, might be able
to carry the spare in the standard position too. I'd want to be certain vents
are worthwhile, don't like cutting holes in panels.

Did some homework before playing with my 6B . Went to a national aluminium manufacture but they couldn't guarantee an improvement, except weight, for a custom unit, aluminium is no more efficient than brass, just cheaper & lighter for OEM production. Go to the "Spal" website for CFM & dimensions, pu...

Which did Reliant produce last, a 6B or a GTC?
Talking about old stock, in the early 2000's I bought a new V8 Falcon, 17 months old for a BIG discount, only had 9 km's on it too.

SE5a running problem

Plugs to cold & fouling/oiling could be it, they clear when given a hard time, then foul again driven/idling
on light load. Its an easy check, do a plug chop, note how it was running before shutdown & use one of the spark plug running
burn charts on line to check all the plugs colour.
