Your thoughts on a random misfire.

Seem to have this sorted. Its a manual choke, pulling knob moves choke butterflies & sets high idle.
From cold, full choke, one pump, starts instantly, immediately to half choke, maintains high idle,
Once on road, choke in, six cylinders firing, We have a nice day.
Thanks all for the wisdom.

Fuel hose

I'm curious about the ethanol, does all your fuel have some % of ethanol in it?
In Australia, only our "standard" fuel has ethanol (10% for 94 octane ) & we have
91, 95 & 98 octane available. What do you use in stationary motors, lawn mowers etc?

Rear Wiper & Park Position?

Or the cow s**t bigger!
On a serious note, why is the GRP affected by the stainless steel plate?
My 6B came with a plate but I haven't mounted it yet.
I know about magnetic signs on steel doors.

Your thoughts on a random misfire.

Interesting Roger, When operated the choke plate moves to a predetermined position, you can feel a slight "click",
more movement is available if required, high idle is fine. Andy, that makes sense as I've a running rather than a starting issue.
Of course it's behaving at the moment.....

Propshaft Query

If the noise changes with slight changes of load at cruising speeds I'd guess the diff.
From what I've read It's fairly standard, mine does it.
