Why is my Fan so Cold?
Hi Alex, No offense taken, and thanks for pointing that out as I actually wasn't aware of that! Strangely the other day when I had lots of stuck in traffic time to kill I did try the lever in the middle position briefly and thought that it seemed to be warmer at the demist area but then quickly dism...

Why is my Fan so Cold?
OK, so a bit of an update after being sat in 25 minutes of gridlock traffic to move 100 metres this morning (you've gotta love roadworks and three way lights filtering during rush hour). If the flaps are on screen and cold I can feel a reasonable (not fast) movement of cold air from the screen vents...

Why is my Fan so Cold?
It's that time of year again.....So, the heater blows nice and strong but whatever position the heater knob is at and however hot the engine is I just get cold air. All the pipes seem to get hot going in and out of the bulkhead (but that could be heat bleed I guess) but I don't want to start taking ...

Servo Failed?
Just a quick update on this, Mark, thanks ever so much for the replacement servo which I fitted at the weekend. Pretty easy job and I now have my brakes back, woohoo! I love it when a repair plan comes together.
Thanks for everyone's help on here.
Cheers

Servo Failed?
Ok, I've tried posting the hissy video on youtube, not sure if it will work but if it does then hopefully someone will be able to give me a diagnosis...
Please accept my apologies if it doesn't work and I've just posted a hilarious cat video.
Cheers

Servo Failed?
Hi, It's pretty loud - I've taken a video of it and will try to find a way to upload and share. The brakes still work, but seem a lot less effective and you do have to press the pedal pretty hard. Having had a poke around this morning it seems as if I take the clevis pin out of the brake pedal which...

Servo Failed?
Hello again, So I had a chance to poke around yesterday and although the hose from the hose from the manifold was a bit loose, once re-attached and tightened up the noise was exactly the same, so it wasn't that unfortunately. So on testing again, the hissing noise is definitely coming from down at t...

Servo Failed?
Good morning all, I've been driving my newly acquired SE6a around for about a month now and working through the thing I'll need to do to make it a good reliable easy commute car, which in fairness shouldn't be too much. On Friday's drive to work, after a period of enthusiastic driving, the brakes we...

Scimitar GTE SE6a Manual Overdrive....
Hi, I saw this on C&C a few days ago and was intrigued by the manual steering - I'm looking for an SE6 (owned an SE5 before), and assumed that all SE6 cars had power steering? I agree with you about the manual windows being better, but power steering is very nice to have if you live in London and ha...
