Red 1973 se5

Hi everyone, this car appeared for sale yesterday or the day before. I called up the guy selling it and he said someone was having a look at 10am today but to call at 11. I suspect the 10am person was the first to see it. Anyway, I wanted to have a look this afternoon but it's been sold! Is the luck...

A friend (still...): this car looks like a council grit box.

Se5a heater matrix and hose access/repair

Thanks for the link. Is there a thread on here showing how to access it? I've undone everything I can and reached a dead end... The heater seems to be in a sealed box!

Se5a heater matrix and hose access/repair

Does anyone know how to access the heater matrix to replace hoses? I recently ended up with hot, wet feet and a steamy car because (I imagine) a hose has perished. I've looked everywhere inside the car and in the engine bay but can't tell how to access those hoses. Can anyone help?

Storage

Is it possible to go on a waiting list? I quite urgently need to find somewhere to store my Scimitar otherwise I'll have to sell it. It is currently being kept on the street outside my house, but I'm not driving it very much at the moment and would rather put it away for a while.

FREE SE5a radiator and modern electric fan

I have just removed my car's original radiator to make way for a new alloy one and the old thing is now homeless. It probably needs a recore but is intact and might be useful to somebody. I've also replaced the electric fan so the old one (not the original but a modern one) is going too. Free to any...

Bored index...

Reading through this last night very tired I misread the title of the marked section, told my partner what it was, still thinking it meant something silly, then realised a few minutes later what it meant. The old grey cells are a bit slow at the moment. I blame the run up to Christmas (and the eye-w...

Tristan and Isolda recording from Bayreuth 1966 with Nillson and Windgassen is on loop in my car at the moment. Anyone else know this recording?

Fibre timing gear

Hello everyone, I'm trying to figure out from pile of receipts whether my car has had its fibre timing gear replaced. There is a receipt for 'fibre gear £87.50' from 1993. Were people already upgrading them to steel back then or is it possible that the origin was replaced with another fibre timing g...

Wiki access

Oh that's great. Thank you. No I just wanted to browse through the files and try to absorb as much information as I can in case something should need fixing in the future.
