Knock from Front Suspension

I had another car in the past with a fracture in the end turn of a coil spring, invisible until dismantled....

Alloy Wheels

After much prevarication I have finally had the 'Ministry of Defence drab olive green' paint on my car's Wolfraces chemically removed and the metal sandblasted. Elsewhere on here I read a thread describing a procedure of progressively finer wet & dry rubbing to come to a polished finish. Following t...

The unit works well providing approx 16 seconds of interior light on following door close. Thereafter it fades to off in around 3 seconds. Previous symptoms we...

Middlebridge Fuel

I would like to ask the Middlebridge drivers what fuel they use.
Can one use unleaded ?
Do they pink on 95 fuel ?
Does 97 grade give worthwhile or cost effective, inprovement in performance ?
Any other notable points.

High voltage reading

Just a footnote here if I may, because I expect to be fitting a new alternator to my car soon. What is an A127 ? is it the plug or is it the type No of the alternator ?

Look what came in the post today

Absolutely right Phil, you hit the nail on the head. Now the question I wish to pose to the wise old owls is :- Should I try to accuire all the bits to fit EFI or Can I / should I fit a 38DGAS In case its not clear the project is to re build the 2.9 and fit it into my '84 GTC which is currently runn...
