Chris, just my ideas - Car runs decent when cold, rubbish when hot. So I guess you can rule out any valve related issues as the major cause. Getting hot very quicly is hinting a lot of heat is produced or no heat can be cooled. No cooling issues, so it must be the heating up What can cause this sort...

No camping for us this year with little 'un.

Events, cars, clubs. All subject with high emotional values. If we talk about organising, it is better to think with an open mind. As said - a bit more money for the value offered won't be the problem. I paid 60 pounds, but paying 65 would not have set me back. After all, getting there is much more ...

Re: Scimitar Mirror Mounting Pads

I feel your pain, after 10 years of scimitar ownership I am still amazed at the poor quality/ fit/ longevity of many of the parts supplied. Though not what you'd like to see, it is way better than unavailable at all. Another issue is 'you get what you pay for'. As for the mirror pads, twenty pounds...

Re: stuttering on acceleration SS1 Turbo

When I owned a twin spark 1800ti, it was very hard to get it running smoothly on other sparkplugs than the originals. With non-handbook gap adjustments as discussed.

Re: stuttering on acceleration SS1 Turbo

Marcus, Your problem does sound like an airlleak between turbo and the inlet. Another option is a fouled air intake or wrong measuments. Does the airflow meter work correctly? Does the car have a K&N or alike airfilter? If so, it may be too oily. Does it have the right ECU? A twinspark uses a differ...

Never seen something like this.
Must be a badly hidden safety feature in Firefox on W10, as it does not seem to appear anywhere else.
