Thanks for all the kind words folks! Must get the rest of the mods, breakages and fixes written up - had a very fun summer with the little car! CNH - Reckon that would mean I can just remove the pulley and bolt it back in the right orientation easily enough? Currently running very conservative on th...

Ah right, thanks! Exhaust could probably have done with a bit more of a clean, yes - it did have a quick buzz with a wire brush head on a grinder but we probably should have taken the rust back further! Pipe was surprisingly thick so I'm not worried about it falling to bits, thankfully (and the weld...

And chapter 3 (arguably the silliest yet)... Shortly before my time in Cambridge actually finished for the academic year, I had to be back in Bucks for my niece's christening (grr... damned obligations), but then back to Cambridge for the legendary inter-college go-karting race later the same day. O...

Hmm - I can't really argue the music taste gets better, rumour has it the car's been spotted blasting through Aylesbury with the top down and Taylor Swift belting out of the speakers, though naturally I can't comment on such madness   Thanks Manny! Like what you've done with the speakers,...

If you read my post from back in August, you'd know that was a one-off, as well as in fact there being 3 levels of safety in place even in that photo: scissor jack-wood-wheel thicker than me under lowest point. I never claimed it was a sensible way, or that I was going to keep doing it, proper axle ...

So, far too long since I've updated this, especially with how much has been done to my little scim! Time for chapter 2. Having been at uni for a couple of mad (but life changing, though that's a story for another time...) months, I was itching to get back home to my little scim. The evenings of proc...

1800ti Clutch

Deffo go uprated do you mean just an S13 clutch or an uprated S13 clutch? So far I've only reserved what i believe to be a standard S13 clutch at Euro's - easy enough to cancel so will go uprated if it's the best way forward... Thanks for all the advice guys, I've seen a few good writeups on gettin...

1800ti Clutch

I've reserved one at euros for now then! Doubt they'll be selling fake ones, and at £93 i can't really turn it down... Though will check thoroughly! Around a bar is where I think I'll settle with my ti for a while, I've got dreams of a DET conversion and silly boost but finances will put that on hol...

is it sensible to go for the uprated then..? had a look around and can't seem to find the uprated one for £130, i think the one conceptua performance sell for £130 is the same OEM replacement that eurocarparts do? i could well be wrong on that but can't see any info on their page about it being upra...

1800ti Clutch

Hi guys, looking for some advice on clutches today! my 1800ti arrived with me with a slipping clutch, cured by cable adjustment, but I do still find it a bit suspect... It's always seemed incredibly smooth (odd to complain, I know, but to me it seems to be!) so I wonder overall if it's okay, are the...

SS1 1800ti thermostat outlet

Suddenly in dire need of the thermostat housing/outlet - the bit that bolts on and off the inlet manifold, for my ti, I realise reliantpartsworld sell them but I could do with one ASAP, if at all possibly - car was meant to be going to a show on Sunday  willing to travel to pick one up, so has ...
