Stuck bonnet and ignition

Make sure the catches are bolted in tight too as the movement sometimes can cause a opening problem

Manny's SS1 1600

I'd take out the boot liner then you can see just about everything on both sides including the frame inner wing liners etc and compare sides ,it takes about an hour to remove it but well worth it for ease of restoration

I think that the Momo (Corsa type D35) wheel itself is very thin and the boss is about the same thickness as the standard wheel?

Detachable steering wheel

Looking at the pictures of Momo wheels(?) fitted to Sabres, it looks like the boss is just attached in front of the steering cowl (the plastic part which the stalks exit from). One would think this would make the steering wheel too close, but people don't seem to have a problem... Many thanks for t...

Driving test reality check

The IAM is a good suggestion, but it is about learning how to pass the test as all have said above,if you can satisfy the difficult instructor then hopefully the examiner won't be too fierce ,all the best with it .
It was 10 to 2 when I learned not quarter to 3 ,but they were earlier times :D

Just to add to the confusion, if that is its original plate then it was registered in Aberdeen. :w
(Still think it is a great looking car! 8) )
Was ther a dealership in the Aberdeen area ? Might throw up some more information to dig into that angle .
