Front hub bearings

When I stripped the front suspension on my SE6 a PO had used a TR verticle link on the left side, this required the stub axle to be machined down to fit the VL, so a TR stub will not fit a 6.

Vertical link/stub axle nut and washer

Pretty sure his was standard fitment as when removing the stub axle from the vertical link, so as to not destroy the threads, a socket or pipe is placed over the threads to make contact with the stub axle inside the vertical link.

Very little progress this summer, but did manage to source a donor car for beer money. Will hopefully be starting again shortly and I'm looking for ideas on bumper looks/finishes.
