Rollbar bottom 2.JPG Body postcard.JPG Rollbar bottom glued.JPG Got Rollbar bottom stuck in. Had to chop a section out from outer side of body to enable better access. Was a bit fiddly with the TIG  Cut section glassed back in, just needs tidying and sanding over on the outside. Internal body...

Been so long since any progress updates so thought it was about time to do something...

Chopped out interior body to reveal rotten rollover hoop bottom on passenger side. Cut out rot and made up a fresh mounting. The drivers side is non existent ad will also need doing.

Yo!

Does anyone know if these are still available through a member on here at all? If not I'll have to make some. Began tackling the rotten out sill saga this morning.

Many thanks,

T

Hi there, as the title suggests. Considering the age of our Cars and what little protection they seemed to have received during manufacture of said parts. How many of you have had to, or have had work carried out on your internal body structure? MOT failures for this reason? Considering rollover hoo...

Body on.JPG Back where it belongs. Bit of a faff, giggle here, giggle there. Front wheels appear to be sitting quite far forward in the arches though, looks a little odd. Can't remember it looking like that. Will have a look back and see what it was like before. All holes mount up correctly though....

Dodgy pallet setup holding the back at the right height. Notice the ratchet strap attached to the boot/fence post to stop the body moving forward and killing us haha.
