Sorry Jerry could’nt say what model MX5 they come from, both have radio speakers in the headrest, and are the tombstone type Brian mentions.I’d suggest cruising the auction sites and ask sellers to measure,cheers Peter
Hi Jerry, measured them, at the seat back they are approx 40 cm, and at the front of the bolster they are 48 cm,but this is fairly soft and they will compress back to 40cms.I’d recommend them, we also have them in a MGBGT we drove 6000 miles to Athens and back in comfort,regards Peter
Thanks, it is a great car.Still having fuel problems, and have gone back to the mechanical pump.All being equal we will use it go to Manchester,grandson’s christening, and hopefully a day out in a Didsbury park, for the Didsbury Car Show, as it’s on my sons doorstep,cheers Peter
First decent run today to the WMC Langholm breakfast meet,car looked great in the sunshine,drove really well,then failed on the way home with a non functioning fuel pump,still an easy fix.Will replace, and hopefully get out again next weekend when we are off to Manchester.Peter
As an aside, the windscreen fitter asked if it was possible to remove the dash top to facilitate the refit, is this normal practice, and if so, how do you remove the dash top, thanks Peter
Yes, I really did’nt like the WIL 2553 plate on a 65 car, better still when booking into a posh campsite with our caravan and Disco the manager said to my wife “Wills in the car”, and she said “no that’s Peter” and the Coupe matches the plate,cheers Peter
