Anyone know where I can get replacements for the channels the window glass sit in on a 5a? mine look very rusy and on their way out - keen to avoid Dan's problem above cant seem to see them on QRG's price list or scim-tvr centre but I've not spoken with them directly Wondered if they were from anoth...

Yes, Pin is at the other end of the shaft to the photo you've circled (it holds the cam that activates the lock mechanism on at the other end) . Mine wouldnt come out - had to drill it out in the end which wasnt the best as I now have more of a c shape cut out in the shaft itself rather than a hole ...

Thanks alot for all the positive colour comments, great to hear that people like it so far. Now to the next step of putting things back together and rebuilding..... will start a new project thread on whats been done so far and how things develop

I do like the colour - will look better again once its built up. Proper 70's colour :) Really pleased with how well it has turned out - looking forward to getting it back next week.
