By the time you pay the duty it works out no cheaper then normal diesel. I just put normal diesel in now as not worth the hassle.

I ran my old transit on veg oil. I came back from Anglesey in the transit on just veg oil a few times and it ran no different. Just was told to change the filters more often but I didn't. And now you have to pay tax on it I don't think it works out much cheaper then normal diesel at the pumps.

Hi Steve sorry about that. I am pretty certain the timing gear on the car already is the original fiber 1. As for this in pictures I never really looked into was just told it was steel. So I do apologise.

when i get back on sunday, first thing i will be doing is changing the pipe and changing the fluid. could you recommend where i can get the pipe from or can i just get it from my local car shop. also whats the recommended fluid to use, its the 4 speed with o/d

hi, there is a red plastic pipe between the master and slave but not sure if this is the original pipe, and ive had the car since last november and dont will have a look in the history when fluid was last changed,

but maybe worth doing anyway

cheers, ive pretty much struck on a deal with a caravan. its not this one but its same model etc, but i wont be having an awning in the caravan as i want to keep it as light as possible. my only worry is that i dont want to do any damage to my scimitar may sound sad i know. but rather be too careful...
