There’s only 3 bolts holding it on? Are you trying to split it in situ?
Possibly. I think I've taken 2 off front and 2 off back currently. 1 left behind pulley, and 1 by the bottom hose outlet on back.

The issue with SS1 battery is sorted, the brown wire from the alternator had come loose. All is now good, just waiting on July 1st to tax it. Having MOT'd my Moke at the start of the week I've now returned attention to the Coupe. I don't think I'll ever complain about access on a Mini again. I'm att...

I have an MOT! The car disgraced itself by draining its battery totally during the test and requiring me to borrow a jump pack from the garage to get me home. Interestingly this time round no advisories, despite the fact there is noticeable play in the steering that was picked up on the last MOT 2 y...

Yes, sabres use different window and mirror switches.

The Ti is running again! I owe huge thanks to Steve Crosby for his patience on the Small Sport FB group in helping get me sorted. Turned out to be a timing related issue. The belt was a few teeth out, must have been a mistake made when I had my first go at a timing belt, although I had put about 100...

Heater Fan

How does the fan come out of the case? There was a small clip on the end of the shaft that I've removed, should it not just slide off?

Probably not related, Out first TI had a problem starting after washing once. Turned out, hosing down the wing, nearside by intake, put water into the air filter, once dried out, started fine. Unfortunately not that, car has been in a dry garage so can't be water. Thanks though, one to remember for...

The car is back together, I have a full set of working instrument lights. Car started up well, ran for about a minute then died. It turns over but is making no attempt to start. Appears to be fuel and spark. I've just ad a look back at the various threads about Ti starting issues and will pull the p...

Heater Fan

Hi All,

Are heater fans repairable? What goes wrong with them? I've 12v for all speed settings at the plug underneath but the fan is dead!

Thanks
