Re: Toughend vs Laminated

crash.jpg The 2cv & dyane are made of varnished tissue paper so it's probably improved the safety I think there is a bacofoil upgrade. The Fiber-glass bodied British variant of the 2CV - The Bijou was a road safety improvement - crash wise maybe...... but a liability as the top speed and accelerati...

Re: rear light leds

bad.jpg LED.jpg Twin filament bulbs need to have a mix of LEDs - on the sides and top not just ones on the side for one filament the top for the other The design of the parabolic mirror in new light units lends itself to LEDs - getting the right LED bulb for an old unit is more than just the bayone...

Re: rear light leds

Light travels in straight lines - some LED bulbs fail to utilize the reflector and the whole of the diffusing lens - so all the output just beams through part of the lens with out any diffusion / expansion /amplification/ gain......increase of intensity

Shill bidding

Are you suggesting the price was pushed up by some one with no intention to buy?
I would have thought the keen repeatedly under bidder would jump at a second chance offer if they were genuine

Re: Classic British Crime TV series

As a child I was obsessed with the TV show - I held affinity more with Illaya and changed my middle name to his. I was shocked by the scene when Robert Vaughn died in The Magnificent seven - not so much by the demise of the character but the hamming it up as he slid his face down the wall. UNCLE.jpg...
