Mikey Bikey's Scimega

That's yer clamber dangles ain't it.

I set me trackin' by jackin' oop, tack yon wheels orf, dampers orf an' set suspension t' normal runnin' height. Clamp a straight bit o' tree wood to each disc out to the front an' measure nearest an' farthest along 'em. Simples!

New purchase Se5

Well, that looks lovely! Time, as you say, to get it out on a twisty, A road to feel how good they go! Be careful though because the bleddy things are addictive, suddenly you'll find yerself keeping the Scim and sellin' the project, a few months later an' there's another Scim as yer new project.😎😁 H...

Not one to usually compliment a GTE of any kind, but that looks trick as Mikey 8) Craig's ill, he's not feelin' well, somebody ought t' check on 'im! Class, style, grandeur, historic hautiness, pedigree and yet, underneath the pristine exterior, it's had a heart transplant so no racing away from th...

Hi Jim, Vale has extra dishing on thinner cross-section of spokes putting the offset the same. Have a look at the different cross-section of them.

Took a day off glassing t' fetch some bling type treasure, lovely t' see close pals after so long, all be it socially distanced and mostly downwind. So the Coupe will be able to wear shiny Wolfies with colour co-ordinated spoke gaps!

The Racy Red Bakery Truck.

The daily was treated to a shakedown cruise t' Gloucestershire t' pick up some treasure. Clock stopped working, temp gauge is intermittent and both exhausts swing on those pesky ball joints! It's being sulky because of all the attention the Coupes getting!😳😎

Does Run Fast 351 Eventually!

Beginning to enjoy this plastic welding! Final layers on the door repair, filled the patch over the hole, sanded level and secured the floating inner panel. Time to attack the underside so juggled the lift, added packing and raised the body on the beams. Secured it with a ratchet strap and G clamps....

Does Run Fast 351 Eventually!

More layers inside the drivers door then, after curing, sanded a shallow V on the other side and filled it with widening strips of grp to complete the structural repair. More filling strips to the chin repairs to bring them up to contour and some on the cracks in the rad inlet behind the number plat...

Does Run Fast 351 Eventually!

I'm blaming "lockdown"! Should have been at Speedys in May but I needed practical instruction on the grp repairs having never done it before so son couldn't get to me until way late. Then I've found loads more defects since getting into it, little things like tape joining rad ducting to the body gla...

Does Run Fast 351 Eventually!

Busy busy day in the man cave with four lay ups done, both chin repairs strengthened and the outside surfaces built up to near the correct contours, rad ducting panels strengthened and the drivers door repair begun with two layers done. Cream-crackered but most of the topside and front structural re...
