I've had a look at 4 and 2 post, scissors and others, I like yours though. Best o' luck.

SAR restoration - my old girl

Tough job, mine were bolts, 1/2 af I think. I used an open ended and twelve point deep-offset ring to crack 'em loose then 1/4" socket set with wobbly joint as the sockets were thin walled. The gaskets only fit correctly one way although they can be put on three more wrong ways. My manifolds had dis...

Shelsley Walsh 17 September 2017

Needn't be our fault, the first time I went I got ticked orf by a Coronel Blimp of a scrute about nothing who then declined to give me a sticker. I chased another scrute and eventually got one. I like proper hill climbs but it's too short there's not enough corners. I acknowledge it's history but wo...

Drive to torque or bhp

Sorry mate, my sense of humour always comes out. I've the same g/box and axle ratio and go straight up the gears to third, second immediately before the molehill, third to hairpin etc. I rev to six thou in deference to the age of the machinery but, like you, find I run out of acceleration at the fin...
