As far as I know there is only one axle quoted for the 2.8 engined cars. Probably the type 9 box.

I would imagine the club traders have them if only for the cars they service - is there any play in your joints.

Most such "batteries" are made up of lithium 18650 cells.

Lithium-ion over ni-cad for me any day of the week. Just have more than one battery with the other on charge.
I already have two - had three originally but one failed compltely.

Probably lithium Iron batteries - i do no like them as they stop working without warning -my next battery drill will be a NIcad one - no idea where you can get replacement batteries from - probably no where to help sales of new drills. New batteries probably cost more than a new drill with batteries...

5a clutch pipe.

Copper pipe down to the chassis then a short piece of braided pipe to the slave - a old bit of braided brake pipe was what I used

They are not too difficult to change - you should be able to tell with a screw driver for any play - could well be the reason for your clunk although when I have had one fail its vibration you feel more

How to remove the Automatic Gearbox Selector Cover

Not like mine - to start with there are four screws holding mine in position ( 2 of which you cannot get at ) and the cover is up to the other end.

I would check the timing wheel and if its still nylon or fibre change it for a alloy or steel one - otherwise the engine is pretty much bullet proof. Unlike the modern car you can fix things yourself.

Fuel pump/ lack of fuel

Fit a electric pump - you can fit it in series with the mechanical pump and with a push button use it to prime the carb.

Warning! 25A switch won't handle 18A for long.

Car fuses are often over rated he MGF EPAS system has two fuses 10A and 40A I fit 7.5A and 30A and think that the 7.5 is more than needed anyway - 5 is probably nearer the mark. 25 seems a bit low unless its a slow blow fuse.

Like I said here is no indication of what the rad fan fuse value should be - only the two relays.
