1800ti exhaust manifold needed

Most people when they have the manifold off cut out the piece between the ports - you are sort of lucky that the metal gone has not done for your turbo -perhaps the PO has cut the metal out.

Never understood why you got rid of your old SS1 and then started again - it still goes well Steve.

Stainless Steel Door hinge mountings

Yep - braved the great outdoors and 1/2" it is. So I will want 1xMB and 1xCoupe hinge plates. Given that the 5's have the same sort of doors I would advise people wanting plates for those to check to see if they are offset as well. Mine is a V6 1968 Coupe.

Coupe hinge bolts are 2.5" horizontally and 1" vertically - plus they are offset - I cannot remember if the GTE ones are as well. Photo nearside top hinge.

I would want two sets if they are ok for the Coupe - my memory is not good enough to know what's in the Coupe door

If fitted however the MOT man may decided that they have to work as required by the law.

Fuse for Horns. Where is it?

Easiest way to identify the fuses is to look at the colours of the wires connected to them - that goes for all Scimitars not just the MB. Behind the MB air duct in the passenger foot well there are a row of fuses - one of those is for the central locking - I have also taken the fuse out as the centr...

Timing belt and tensioner. Gates power grip K015028 www.gatesautocat.com Water pump probably the same as the bluebird - same engine as the Silvia. Boot struts same as the GTE ones. Discs are special - buy them from other than the club traders and you will get the wrong ones. Callipers and pads are M...

1800Ti Air flow meter part numbers

Typically the transistor has no part number on it but having done a "type" search my best bet is that it is a MJ10012 - cost around 7 or 8 pounds

Engine cooling (rad. etc.)

The temp on our MB9 rarely gets to 90deg. Have you still got the two speed fan fitted - according to the first owner of MB9 a bigger / better fan was fitted before he sold it on
