you need a rack with "feet" that puts the weight on the roof and side clamps that just keep it in position

As you have the inlet manifold off you might as well take the heads off and have them checked - if 2nd class head gaskets were used that could account for the problem.

If you have the original engine then its likely to be Granada - the engine in my car was originally Granada but a Scorpio engine was fitted at 200,000 miles - I don't know what the difference is between the two - mine is a auto as well.

GTC Hand brake adjustment

GW method says loosen off the handbrake cable then turn the wheel adjusters until the wheels lock then tun adjusters back 1/4 turn ( One click ) and check wheel turns freely. Reconnect handbrake cable and tighten up with adjuster under the handbrake/ above prop shaft.

You can dim them by reducing the voltage - the "normal" dimmer reduces he current and is far to low in value to be of any use. ON a scim you wouldd need a dimmer of a few kilohm's across the 12 volt and take off your LED supply from the dimmer wiper. I know it can be done as I have done it on a ship...

I thought the Coupe was early engine front dipstick so has your engine been replaced? I have a decent fan but possibly like the Scim it’s a long way from the engine so my theory is s bit of extra help wouldn’t go amiss particularly when stuck in traffic and there’s no ram effect No our coupe still ...

Bolted direct - 1st thing I did on our Coupe was get rid of the fixed fan how about fitting a 2 speed fan - works well on the MB.

Makes a big difference when it looks good at night - unfortunately the MB rev counter and speedo are not that well illuminated - they could do with couple more lamps.
