I have had to use the screwdriver on a number of cars when ell else has failed - yes it is messy but sometimes needs must. Sometimes a screwdriver on the edge of the filter ( next to the block ) will turn it

I use Mann oil filters sorry its a bit wet outside to be looking to see what number but I think its quoted as a MIcra 1000cc filter. photo of the larger fixings I used on the door panels - smaller ones along the door bottoms - hold the door panels on no bother and come out easily when and if you have to take the panels off
