Yes Peter, but the PULLEY does.

It seems you've got the right idea Barry, crack on and good luck :)

Scimitar 1800ti cam belt

To get the pulley off in order to change the belt?

I'd always use an air gun or breaker bar with the car in gear

The shims are to adjust castor and camber to account for chassis variations, so there's no set number - you simply use the number required Again, the wishbones are supposed to be asymmetrical because of the castor set by the trunnion. Try fitting the arms the other way round and the ball joint will ...

I have one but it’s not guaranteed good. I know it came out of a working car so I’d assumed that means it works

MSA 2018 Tyres List

Based on that Anglesey, I'd be tempted to use the RS3s Steve. 2.5% is a good chunk and the RS3s felt pretty good to me. Your car will be lighter, better balanced and more powerful than my poorly standard road car was so they should be well matched

Surprise surprise, now I have a working straight six, it’s looking even more unlikely that I’m going to get this one done. As it stands, it’s a rolling chassis a bare body shell and a LOT of bits. It’s got a full original tan interior, several dashboards, the all important front bumper etc etc. Pret...

Cheers Mike, I’ll probably do just that. Are they NOS ones? All that seems available now is greenstuff. That was my first thought JP but it’s not as bad as I thought with the non onverdrive. I’ve got a spare axle that should be a different ratio so I plan on working out the best gearbox and diff com...

Oaksey's New Car

It wasn't, but Tony Heath put me into the owner and I got some info about it.

I bought it with the intention of being a mid/long term keeper unless maybe a good Sabre 6 comes up but I guess anythings for sale for a price :)

Here's one of mine. I can't find the other which was similar. I've not had it done since the engine was rebuilt this year

Rough Straight six coupe

Tbh I didn't think it sold. It was advertised quite expensively at the time and the rear axle wasn't fitted to it. I can't remember if that was due to it needing rebuild or If it was the start of an intended restoration.
