Can't understand any dyno plot NOT having AFR trace line, just seems mad without.

I've only ever cut and removed original regulator and replaced with the aftermarket one, can you show pics of what your suggesting Steve? The original needs to not be part of the 'circuit'

Gauge not essential at all, the fun I will set fuel pressure relative to boost ceiling. Gauge is useful for fault finding though
