I believe the material may be tufnol, in which case it is an insulator made of compressed resin and fibres, and once damp with oil or fuel, will remain waxey to the touch

Hillclimb school days will also 'earn' you points towards a licence, as ARDS iirc (circuit racing licence). I haven't looked into it, but I *think* the MSA have a mechanism in place to allow you to gain a licence required before competing. Whilst I'm sure it may seem a lot of red tape, the idea is/w...

To be fair, this time last year we all agreed to review whether we keep the SSSC scoring or use the CM scoring, not sure which suits most, but would make tyre choice easier I guess

Agreed, I'm the same, once the Sabres back out and working as I want it, I may be tempted with a stalemate, but would be Clubmans or single seater so no good for CM, which would be a shame given some of their calendar would really suit that's sort of car
