To be fair, the ideas were collaborative, just in this instance i got them made first whilst you were welding a jag from headlight to tailight

Now i can see rear end need to start mocking up

You need to grind through the galv and at least an inch around each aide of where the new weld will be. If the galv isnt cleaned off the welds will be horrible

Weve all done stuff like that Steve. Shouldve seen me trying to work out angles and cuts for tube notcher on wishbones--- kept moving the tube around in my hands as i tried to work out the orientation, not sure if i look more like a majorette baton-twirler, or a bob sled driver 'visualising'the run ...

Corky's Scimitars (Idle Control Valve issue)

If the originl cant be obtained, a thick alloy plate made up to adapt the stock one to CA20 manifold could be used, or one off another car. Stew B fitted a ford one to the Sabre when he had it, was remotely fitted with hose rather than bolted to fannymold
