SS1 1600Ti Sprint Car

To be fair when I drove it at the test, it didn't feel like I was changing gear much differently than a Ti, maybe a change or two less but nothing worrying. I would say it's a perfect example of 'less is more', less weight and less power, and yet has masses of grip from well managed suspension, and ...

After Market ECU

Nick Keysers is running an MS derivative iirc. Can recommend Emerald, and would also buy with my own money DTA ( designed and originally developed by a hillclimber...now owned by another hillclimber), Omex if I had a local mapper that knew it, or if speak to Jez Horsham as he's an agent for Syvecs (...

The Green Machine - Sprint Car Build

We, hang on, what have I missed??!! You built another car to compete whilst the Coupe sulked, and now you are gonna flog it leaving you with a Coupe and an engine you've lost the love for, or a winter's work to graft a boat anchor back in there, yes? You been sniffing the petrol fumes again Mr T? :l...

Converting SS1 Front Brakes to Single Line

As Jim says, to find bigger more powerful single line calipers, wouldn't be used to modify original twin line metro calipers to single line. Std brakes work well enough on a road car if in good condition. Poor front to rear or left to right balance suggests a problem to me, would want to find that f...

G130 YCF my first sprint car

Fingers crossed your ecu punt works out well, open source was how MS started and development was slow and a little varied until some of the commercial developers got involved. As most that have gone the standalone route (on any engine or ecu combo) it lives or dies on the mappers ability and skill G...
