I would recommend that you put a nice big drainage hole in each corner of the two bottom closing plates (8 holes all together) which should reduce rusting.

Does the extra width alter the precision of the steering response?
I found on my SE6a manual steering that it was actually a bit lighter/easier with the 195/70 HR 14 tyres fitted.

Graham Walker sell replacement aluminium radiators without a drain plug (unless they now have new stock). QRG sell replacement aluminium radiators with a drain plug. Citroen was for electric fans I believe, but hard to find now. Good easy to fit aftermarket electric fans are readily available these ...

Grahame , you said it was better to detach rods from gear box and remove as whole ? did that mean that you extracted the assembly and rods up thru the inside of car as a whole or did you disconnect both ends of rods whilst in situ then reassemble once out of car ,if you see what I mean . Yes, O/D works on 3rd and 4th because the inhibitor switch is made when gear lever mechanism is in the 3rd/4th plane of the H but open contact when gear lever moved across the other side of the H. 3rd with O/D is very useful when driving around town as flicking in and out as required can reduce gera...

What diff?, which oil?

For SE5-Series using 4HA diff the raio is 3.31:1 for Manual O/D and 3.07:1 for Automatics and 4-speed manuals.
For SE6-Series the ratio did not change for Manual O/D or Auto, but did change for Essex or Cologne: SE6/6a Essex have 3.31:1 diffs; SE6b/8b Cologne have 3.54:1 diffs.

Manny's 81 GTC

I think yours are welded on, but if they could be made to bolt to the original fulcrum holes it could ...

That is a perfect example of why I did away with fulcrums and used lower wisbone brackets instead: See Slice 291 66-70.
