Hello i'm looking to get the tubular manifold for the rhs for the Reliant Scimitar SE5 if anyone has one available, I know they can be got new just want to check first if anyone has one knocking around.

Exhaust has seen better days

My exhaust on the SE5a has cracked near the U bend at the front and close to completely falling off, is it possible buy this section anymore or does it have to be made up? Ideally would need to replace the whole lot it be a far better job, the car starts and runs fine but just unable to drive it any...

Thanks for your assistance folks, if possible if anyone with the weber 38DGAS has auto choke if anyone can take a picture of the set up of where the water pipe connects and linkage set up be much appreciated.

The car is running very well its been idle for nearly a year and now running perfect after changing the rotor arm to an old original part new ...

Is it an automatic? I think I can see a cable connected to the end of the throttle spindle, going down the back of the engine ? Automatics have a relay to prevent them being started in gear, which could be failing/faulty, causing your problem. If it's an automatic gearbox, you need advice from some...

You should have a throttle return spring as well as the one built in the carb looks like its missing...any spring will do some on ebay That could be the problem its certainly not springing back into place, its an automatic if anyone has any picture of this part of the carb where the accelerator cab...

Hard to see but are you sure the cables snapped.Looks like the end has just pulled through the hole in the linkage ? I checked it again its not snapped just was out of the linkage, when pressing the accelerator fully it jams up and doesn't spring back like it should there seems to be some issue wit...

Just to add insult to injury the starter appears to have burned out I think the way things are going my can of petrol be going inside the car along with a spark
