Mikey Bikey's Scimega

Okay, humour me because I must have missed it again, you told me the top wheels were MG (at least I remembered that! ) but what are the ones you have on today?

There was a Scimitar at the Stoney Stratford New Year Day show that looked that it had the same.

MB rear ARB drop link

Alan Timmis has used DELPHI TD272W to replace previous bent links have now done sufficient work over time to prove themselves up to the job so far as he is concerned. I have some QH parts QLS 1750S – 1750 A3516 (Astra/Cavalier/Chevette), yet to fit, which I am told are a direct replacement and from ...

I am reliably informed (or should that be Reliantly informed! ) by someone who was marshalling at the show that the car in the photo is a SE6? with non standard wheels. The paintwork (as it looks in the photo) was apparently in very good condition.

The only Middlebridge there was MB63.

Seems to be the season for accidents, a tired driver got me just before Xmas. Concentrates the mind when you see a car coming out of an oncoming line of traffic into your lane at 60 mph......

Also seen in this factory photo recently put up on Mick's site. Dennis Nursey gave Mick some very interesting photos of the MB GTC at the same time, of which this is one.

Throttle cable

Chris' suggestion is the best I am aware of so far. The Club Sec sent his to Speedy Cables to remake it. They said they cannot make new ones owing to availability of parts. Fortunately for John they were able to repair his by replacing the inner and a couple of damaged grommets. If anyone has a stoc...

A car with a bit of history and good to see the restoration has obviously progressed if it is back on the road.

Old car badges wanted by collector

Ah, that saves me checking up on this as he seems to have sent the same email to a number of RSSOC addresses, I had it come through on the MB registrar address.

Middlebridge spare wheel tray

Too late, but just for the record here are the photos I promised. And MB14 is one of the cars without the wheel rebates cut in the fromt panel either side of the catch and even with the valve pointing forward I can still get the wheel out without hitting the valve. It's amazing how the cars differ i...
