Rear hatch drain

bit late but the ones in my picture are 10mm I used some tiger seal that was left over from attaching the bumper rubbers back on. also pushed the tube right up against the inside fibre glass to hold them fast.

Is the red button the headlight reset if so what's the white button?
yes the red button next to the interior light is the "headlight reset" the white button, led and rocker switch aren't standard.

Gear Stick

I would suggest a good percentage of snapped gearsticks are due to drivers having difficulty in selecting gears due to wear in the linkage between the remote gearlever and the gearbox. Another sign of linkage wear is a widening of the alloy housing either side of the gearstick, again a result of a d...

How does the overdrive switch attach to the dash?

you are missing the below plate that fits behind the dash, it isn't fixed to the dash it sits between the switch and the rear of the dash, this is pulled towards the dash by a slim round nut.

the one listed on face book is from a very early 5 gearbox, it won't fit if you have a remote gearlever which would be regarded as the later box. The scimitar dealers may have one I know GW had some secondhand ones but they might seem expensive to some. If you have a later box I will have a spare ge...

NEVER have deliveries to home, only to work/mates/neighbour's house, then smuggle into man cave under cover of darkness...

That was mine! And definitely never advertised by me on ebay having owned it from 1997 until late last year. I knew as soon as I sold it values would go up so well done to the vendor for a super profit. The purchaser got an a bargain. See my posts for more detail if anyone wants to. Unfortunately I...

Type 9 into V6 Essex

no price in your costings for a heavy duty t9 gearbox though, they are expensive and a lot for sale are wrongly described. I have been looking for one for a while to replace the faulty one I have in a GTC, a 2.8 T9 gearbox will set you back anything from 250 to 900 and the vast majority sold as a 2....

Thanks all, I'll try the re-boot process

If that fails how much would you want for you clock Dave S? Or would your prefer to discuss off-line?
Have you sourced one yet?
best wishes
