well the rad fitted nicely, change the drain tap to a plug ...personal choice, changed the pipes and flushed out the engine.... suprising amount of sludge/rust came out. I have been using her to commute and generally run about for a month now and she has been reliable (touch wood), surprisingly dry ...

this has been up for sale for quite some time, it has a had a mentioned previously on here or facebook. Some one local to me went for a look and described it as tired they didn't take any photo's unfortunately.

the bolts are welded as standard to the bracket, there is no need to cut the bottom shock bracket mount as the bolt that would afford access to is fixed to the bracket. one end of the drop link would need disconnecting to remove the drop link bracket completely

yes it is a drain "tap" which is easy to removed I am hoping the original cap will fit or it may be Alans answer!

thats a 5/ 5a and a 6/6a

a lot, if not the majority of 6b's and 8's were auto with a number of owners myself included switching auto's to manual gearboxes. I have 6/6a pedal boxes for sale but only one spare se8 manual one which I sent you a picture of and need that for a future project

the one with the yellow accelerator cable is from a 6/6a cable screws into pedal box housing. Black cable from a 6b cable pushes and "clicks" into the pedal box housing. Yes it would be straight forward to adapt the 6/6a accelerator pedal to take the 6b cable. Or get a firm like speedy cables to mak...

Mark it is a spacer, my previous coupe had one fitted but that was a complete fibre wheel. don't know if they were only fitted to early engines. I have a couple of cams on the shelf one is a complete kit and its does not have a spacer... pushed out the broken bit with my finger :shock:
