SE5/a SPAX or GAZ coilover suspension road legal anywhere? Preferably Germany?

Gaz didn’t exist within the 10 years after 5a (or even Scimitar) production.. Marco over in Saarland purchased a set of Gaz (I brought them over for him when I was working near) but I don’t know if he got them fitted - or even if they were adjustable seat types or “direct replacement”? Marco had an...

SE5/a SPAX or GAZ coilover suspension road legal anywhere? Preferably Germany?

Good ideas :) But I think it isn't that easy... back then as i needed toregister the car in Germanyfor my wedding for "safety and timing Reasons" I left the old coilovers cleaned and painted in black in there. And although on damper was leaking heavily and definitly empty they accepted the H-Registr...

Princess Anne rim query

Hey guys....

found the nuts on eBay: Here they are... I bought those and they do fit the 15" Princess Anns on my Scimitar with 1/2" Wheelbolts.
Maybe worth a sticky? They are not exactly cheap but easier available and cheaper as handmade ones.

Jacking points

Hey guys. What do you do in emergency cases? The original scissor type jack cannot be put stabley under the main rails/tubes as it is not accessible to wind there. And the small hydraulic stem type life I carry doesn't lift the car high enough to lift the wheels of the ground... Any ideas for on the...

Help please !! What size screw's ? SE5

I can confirm in the se5a they are too UN fine thread. So no self cutting screws or the like  or like one would anticipate on a scimitar 8)

Help finding postings/drawings

Can confirm they are folded with a strengthening bracket at the end towards rear wheel arch. That strengthening piece is essential for its stability an just screwed/riveted in place originally. I guess my angles are just what fitted my car roughly so be careful with this. They may need adaption on y...

"I thought I'd just put the brakes together and drive it"...

Long time nothing written... Not to much happening on the scimitar. Mainly sitting in the garage currently. Got the PAs properly balanced now and some new spacers will be made for front so they eventually do run a lot smoother. Even more so when the crappy pressed alloy Chinese old spacers have betw...

Hey guys, I got the fuel lif sealed up with a new seal.. I am curious if it really is tight, but looks like... Fueled up yesterday with the new one and had some hard accelerations to have the gasoline swap around. So far no stains on the bumper... The seal itself I found useful from a Volvo Amazon o...

Coupe Build From Australia

As always nice work. (... at some point we all will have to stop saying this, or the full thread will read as a prayer to the Coupe-God :) :) ) Commented per PM on the Diaphragms already. I had sunbeamspares diaphragms fitted to my SE5A seats that are also on a Sunbeam Tiger. Coupe seats are slightl...

All my PAs (14 and 15") have the same 1/2" wheelstuds, long shank (0.75 to 0.8") width and 3/4" Shank Diameter... Paid between ~300-400 GBP per set of 4 15" PAs and 5 14" PAs ~3 Years ago iirc. the 14" Set is still original and not prepared. Currently I am keeping them as I like the 14" ride comfort...
