ENGINE OIL

I had a mini engine that was offset overbored 130 thou (too much really). That engine DRANK synthetic oil. Was much better on a mineral millers 20W50 and was at its best oil consumption using Penrith 15W60. So yes I've had similar experience to CNH.

Had a chat with a guy at Millers Oils today, Ive always put mineral oil in SS1 and GTE but was thinking of upgrading SS1 to semi Synthetic as between these two and my two bikes used to have four different oils on the go, both bike now on Semi, even though oldest is 1981, anyway he said why don't yo...

I seem to remember some time back there was a fairly lengthy discussion which decided that the side rails weren't actually structural and they could be sawn off and chucked away. Or is that wishful thinking on my part? I'm always after the easy/lazy solution ..... I hasten to add that MY side rails...
