Re: A dead SS1.....HELP!!

I'm going to make some fairly obvious statements but hopefully will lead you in the correct direction, as ECU normally ok.The engine needs little to fire even if it does not run smoothly. Then this could be other sensors but will not normally stop it starting! I'm assuming you have no type of immobi...

Re: Project: Scimitar Sabre - my fast road build

Wobbly windows, wondering why? Wobble25.jpg Passenger side frame had to have sections welded in to rebuild, made new bottom braket. Driver side overhauled as was not as bad fortunately! Wobblefixbits25.jpg Fitting easy, but spent a day getting the adjustment right on both sides. Wobbledone25.jpg Win...

Disco V8 that was tweaked recon about 200bhp but never felt the urge to rolling road a ...

Re: Reviver's Scimitars

You don't half do some work on these cars, what do you do for the other 23 hours of the day  Your intercooler instalation looks really good.
I genuinely like the 'noseless' blue car think it improves the look by reducing the overhang at the front!

Re: Project: Scimitar Sabre - my fast road build

Thanks for the input chaps, the ride was definately too hard set half way as you say Jim, have to start somewhere, done several days of fine weather testing over the long weekend on A & B roads as well as the York ring road (lots of roundabouts). Re: Project: Scimitar Sabre - my fast road build

The drive shafts were cleaned up and checked for any undue movement in the CV joints all was fine, the boots are all intact & look good so did not remove just painted everything up, fitted new V seals to the back of the hubs as these were perished (from QRG). I'm sticking with the open diff for now ...

Re: Project: Scimitar Sabre - my fast road build

The lower arms have been replaced by the previous owner so are very good just had to clean them up & lick of paint, was a shame to burn out nearly new bushes  Anti roll bar back on with Superflex of course, had to buy new drop links from QRG as originals past saving. Purged brake fluid with ne...
