the actual strip down the inside of the holder I took it apart as I recall and resembled with the wire sticking out of the side. The problem I found with the holders is corrosion between the inside side plate and the retaining spring collar you could of course dismantle this clean and reassemble but...

you can use a modern shunt type ampmeter (the shunt could then be connected to the + side battery ) but not including the starter motor as this draws massive current. personally I prefer a digital voltmeter and the one I have in my SE5A is about 2" X 1" as long as you allow for volt drop from the ba...

Hi All
i want to retain my number plate on my SE5A. has anyone done this and still kept it on the same vehicle. the reason i ask is the form seems to suggest you have to transfer it to another vehicle.

thanks Phil I saw some on fleabay for £29 a pair inc postage for tr4-6 the company could not tell me if they would fit my se5a though.
