The records (in the other thread) are for scimitars - I don’t think it matters which championship it’s running in does it?
Don’t know Jim, just wondered but makes no odds really..

Curborough 18 August 2019

Just checked on Resultman under Bevs name. He's only done Curbs recently. Looks like we may need to update the scim record of the Curbs FO8. He did a 61.92 on 4th August 2019 http://resultsman.co.uk/LiveTiming/EventViewer.php?DB=Resultsman&CompID=157150&EventID=1292 5 timed runs!!!!!!!!! Surely it ...

551 A race oddity

Hmm, feared the worse having got to the live timing late and seen your four laps and the conditions/lap times.. Glad you’re ok and the car’s not as bad as it looks.

5/5a at Brightwells

It does seem a little deja vous, must’ve been on eBay or FB?

It didn’t seem too bad when this was happening as the cars weren’t worth much...but now they’re fetching good money it’s much more of an issue knowing people will be buying a ringer?

Chassis swap of course, and definitely not a ringed 5a with a cheap Irish plate to cunningly hide the fact!? 😂

Coupe ARB upgrade

They end up .975 by the 6b and that’s the one to have. With the front track on the Coupe you’ll need to change the angles then weld some threaded inserts on the shortened ends which you can bolt a rose jointed link to.

The Blue Bomber

Due to the red engine bay letting the side down a bit, Luke decided to have it refurbished to match the rest of the car. I have no finger tips left but it’s now done and looking as it should.. Just to re-fit everything ready for getting the engine and new wiring in there. 83754047-54C4-4964-912C-A91...

Looking good, I must admit.. I prefer it on the Revos
Just fancied a change and I hate the new ‘tuner nut’ set up on the revolutions, just looks like an after thought and I had some come loose a couple of times. With its new engine I wanted a more aggressive restomod look

Very impressive stuff paul. What silver matting do you use please ?
It’s from Rally Design, needs gluing with high temp adhesive. Joins taped with aluminium tape as used on ducting etc
