Bogging at 4000 rpm

Just a thought Chris
How is she fueled? Do you have a swirl pot? If so do you have a lift pump? Mine has the swirl pot but not the lift pump which means that the pump works really hard both lifting fuel and pushing it meaning that the pump gets strained.

Fire Damaged Sabres

Not sure it's anything to do with fuel line. After looking at my dad's car it could be it's the carbon filter at the back of the engine?

Would you consider this in your Scimitar?

I fail to understand the obsession with battery power???
Surely a better cleaner option would be alternative fuels for the engines we already have????

Still think 40+ year old cars need no inspection then?
Hell no it's going to bread an onslaught of poorly maintained older cars that are driven by tools who think of it as a loophole!!

Is it definetly no voltage or could it be no ground?
If no ground iirc the roll over bar forms the connection for the ground

There was a rather pretty jaguar xjr for sale as well...
Until you look a little closer and see that the front shock turrets are rotten under the seam sealer/sound deadening. Such a shame as its a really tidy looking car otherwise.

MOT category

Don't know about the tax category, but it looks to me like it's not what it seems. It looks at first glance a bit like a vintage "blower" Bentley. However the build date and the cylinder capacity look more like a "Derby Bentley". The blower doesn't look quite right either, in fact if I had to hazar...
