Straight 6 low oil pressure

Earlier in this post the Flexolite spin on oil filter conversion kit for the straight 6 was mentioned, and the question asked has the length of the hollow securing boss been corrected. It has, my kit purchased at the beginning of June 2020 is the correct length and no modification is now needed.

Straight 6 low oil pressure

Thanks Chris and Phil for the detailed info. When I do fit the Flexolite kit I will take a few measurements and report back if the latest kit is modified or not.
Apologies to the original poster if this does not resolve your lowered oil pressure. Good luck in its resolution.

The nut might be one of those that secures the air filter housing to the top of the carb. They are small and easily dropped through the carb and into the inlet manifold. Cannot be sure on size from the picture. Very hard luck. Best wishes with your rebuild

The original folding sunroof generally fitted was a Tudor Webasto unit. The Trimming Centre at Lewes Sussex 01273 479616 appear to be the worldwide supplier. Their website has more detail. I have no personal experience of their fitting or parts service. I do have experience of the folding sunroof ha...

At first glance it looks like Vauxhall Wyvern particularly with the trim forward of the rear wheel arch, but not sure of the rear wing line although that could be the angle of the shot.

who re upholsters Coupe or any seats

The next time you visit Curborough seek out a gunmetal grey car, owned by Dave Roberts, usually parked up with other coupes. Those are the seats reupholstered by PJM and still looking superb 5 years on.

I have had minor jobs done including motor cycle seats, all excellent and in reasonable time.I have ...
