So only remaining job is the gearbox tunnel. Everything else is done even insurance. I had intended to shake her down today but as soon as I refitted the dash and all the clocks etc, the misfire in no 6 returned. Its clearly a loose wire somewhere but I'm going to leave it a couple of days. I've got...

Hi Alan, excellent idea but pretty certain it wont work. They're the rear so can only fit on the inside. I will check though. I was going to fit them the correct way up but they are designed to be at the front where of course the trailing arms are.... So progress is brilliant. I am trying to do thin...

Thank you. Starts at will on the turn of the key, ticks over perfectly even cold so really pleased. Best of all, from the back sounds incredible when you rev her. 3.2 litres , open headers, straight throughs with rear cherry bomb equivalents. Pops on the overrun. New wiper system all installed. Wipe...

Sorted out misfire, she’s running a dream. Curbs was not meant to be on the scimega but it has driven me forward on the project so well that I’m looking to get her mot’d later this week and on the road Friday for a road trip to Somerset and back. :) Thanks for all your help, have a great weekend and...

So running out of steam, bit too tired, too many 6am starts in the garage followed by work then trying to accommodate visiting family so not sure if Sunday is feasible. Prop arrived yesterday and fits a dream. After a lot of effort bled the brakes. (I have all round disk conversions with rear calipe...

Really productive day today. Although had a moment at lunchtime when I thought there is simply too much to do. So i finished some of the little jobs to completion so that when i look around I dont see 90% everywhere, now I see 100%'s and some 90%'s that are nearly 100%'s. If that makes sense. I also...

But what about the effects on the geometry
Its standard ish but to be honest I'm just trying to make her ok. Id really like to get her to the suspensionmeister Richard C to sort out once and for all, but that can wait till the autumn.
