Your thoughts on a random misfire.

DGMS then
Not sure Pierburgs were cheap, the service kits cost a fortune.
And are necessary.
They are certainly not the same quality as a Weber.

Peter Fonda

Sadly I have just heard that the last Easy Rider is dead.
He will live on in one of the greatest films of all time.
Thank you Peter (and Dennis Hopper!)

Your thoughts on a random misfire.

DGAS is auto choke, it needs ONE pump to pull the throttle linkage off the choke step (if you see what I mean, sorry, I can't think in english any more). Did the factory really fit Webers to the 2,8, I thought they all had Pierburgs originally? As Trevor says, verify if it is that same plug which is...

I've got a bit left over!

Looks like a piece that was cut out of a panel - classic method, drill holes in each corner then join the dots with a jig-saw ?

Standard tyre sizes

Different makes of tyres are also different widths at the tyre wall for the same width on the tread. I have 195-65x15 on mine and the old Continentals had about 2mm clearance (axle well centred!) but the present Goodyears leave plenty of space. I think I ground half the lip off the wheel arch to cle...

Bogging at 4000 rpm

Frosts are currently out of stock of one element of the POR15 kit so I tried to order from Demon Tweeks. Apparently it is not permitted to send the tank sealant 'abroad'. I thought the Untied Kingdom was still in Europe but apparently not. Nobody in France seems to sell POR15. There are two alternat...
